About University :

ADA University was established under the decree dated January 13th, 2014, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The University is a state higher education institution engaged in the delivery of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in addition to the advancement of research.
The University is the legal heir of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) and Information Technologies University. They were merged in January 2014 to establish ADA University.
Founded on March 6, 2006, the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy began offering an Advanced Foreign Service Program to diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and civil servants in the government, as of January 2007. The Academy launched its first master degree in September 2009, followed by bachelor degrees in September 2011.

The school was founded in 2009. If you have been admitted to ADA University as an international student, you will soon find your new home in the heart of Baku. Whether you will be spending four years, two years  two or just a semester with us, we are ready to welcome you for your academic endeavors and embrace you as a new member of ADA University’s international community and family.

To obtain your Azerbaijani visa, please contact the Embassy of Azerbaijan or consulate in your country for application requirements, procedures, and processing times. If there is no Embassy of Azerbaijan in your country, you may be able to receive a visa upon arrival at Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD). We will issue the invitation letter to the Consular desk of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan at GYD. You will be expected to provide your ADA University admission letter together with your ADA University invitation letter.

Transportation from GYD to ADA University is available via:

  • Baku Bus Airport Express which will take you to 28 May metro station. From there, you will be able to take a subway train to Ganjlik metro station. ADA University campus is a short walk from Ganjlik metro station.

  • Taxi (costs about 20 AZN)

Tuition Fees:

ADA University charges a Flat Fee to underwrite the cost of education. The Flat Fee includes Tuition and Student Fees. 

  • The Tuition Fee is a sum of money charged for teaching and instruction, providing all educational and academic services, as well as the operational costs of the delivery of the programs and services.

  • The Student Fee underwrites costs associated with the library, academic computing and technologies and other necessary services provided to students. All students must pay this fee, regardless of their status and/or scholarship eligibility.

Tuition and student fees are normally adjusted annually, based on an increase in cost of education and changes in inflation. Students are encouraged to consult with the Office of Bursar and Financial Aid, should they have further questions. The tables below show annual tuition and student fees in AZN.

 

Tuition Fee:

  • Bachelor: 6500 AZN

  • Master: 8500 AZN

Student Fee: 750 AZN

 

Pay Your Fees

Tuition and fee payments can be made through bank transfer or an online gateway accessible at this link. Payments can be made through domestic or international banks into AZN, USD and EUR accounts listed at this link. The Bursar Office may provide students with the signed and stamped invoices upon request. Requests for issuing of invoices are processed within 5 working days.

 

Pasha Bank Cards for Students

All ADA students have a checking account in Pasha Bank and receive a debit card which is used for all types of payments made to ADA University. Bank service charges related to the usage of the debit card are set directly by Pasha Bank.

To order a Pasha Bank card, please send a scanned copy of your ID, Student card, FATCA and W-8 to the cardoperations.servicedesk@pashabank.az from your ADA email address. Pasha Bank Customer Care department can be contacted by email address customercare@pashabank.az or by phone number *9123 for any questions.

When the card is ready, you will receive a text message from the Bank to your mobile number. Ready cards can be collected with your ID card at Pasha Bank Personal Banking located at Yusif Mammadaliyev str 12.

Merit Scholarships

INCOMING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

These scholarships are awarded to incoming undergraduate students for their outstanding academic performance prior to being enrolled at ADA University.

 

  • Rector’s List of Honor

Incoming undergraduate students who have scored 700 on SEC exams will receive a 100% tuition waiver for the duration of their studies, provided that they maintain a minimum 3.0 semester GPA or successfully pass the EAPP year. In case of a low GPA in any semester, such scholars who meet the above requirements in subsequent semesters are eligible for consideration of scholarship continuation.

Incoming undergraduate students who will have scored 650 or above on SEC exams will receive a 100% tuition waiver for the first year of their studies. This waiver does not apply to students admitted to Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Law programs.

The waiver applies only to the first year of study, whether a student enrolls directly in a degree program or in EAPP.

  • Dean’s List of Distinction
     

Incoming undergraduate students who will have scored 600 or higher on the State Entrance Examination receive a 50% waiver of their first-year tuition. The waiver applies only to the first year of study, whether a student enrolls directly in a degree program or in EAPP. This waiver does not apply to students admitted to Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Law programs.

No merit-based scholarships are offered based for results of SAT test, unless students submit a minimum 600 from relevant SAT Subject Tests. Such students will receive a 50% waiver of their first-semester tuition.

As part of your application, you will be required to submit the following documents:

  • Resume or CV.

  • Recent photo.

  • Copy of national Identification Card (for citizens of Azerbaijan) or international passport (for internationals).

  • Official high school diploma and high school transcript. These must be translated into English and notary-certified. 

  • Statement of Purpose. Must not exceed 400 words.

  • Test Scores.
